The Centre of Experts manages the RSO® register.

The RSO® brand is tied to the 'Be Prepared for the Unexpected!' exercise program.

Participants earn it after completing the program and scoring at least 177 points.

All exercises completed have been recorded by a registered RSHOI® exercise instructor in the security passport of the RSO® applicant. Registration lasts up to 3 years. To renew for another period, the registered must show 295 points. During these 3 years, the registered can use the title Register Security Officer (RSO®) after their surname.

The RSO® registered person meets the requirements as stated in the RSO register regulations.
